Elizabeth Lindquist is an oncology pharmacist in Rockford. Following Bernie Sanders' June 2016 call to his supporters to run for local office, Elizabeth entered and won the most competitive, most expensive Roscoe Township Trustee race in the township's history. She now serves as the sole progressive on a conservative township board, where she collaborates with with her fellow board members to provide what all people want from local government, reliable services at reasonable cost.
Historically Elizabeth's activism has focused on ending the corrupting influence of money in our political system. To that end, she has led Represent Rockford, her local affiliate of Represent.Us since 2012, and serves on the state Issues Committee for League of Women Voters of Illinois. She has organized with numerous other democracy reform groups and volunteered with multiple political campaigns.
